On November 14, 2022, I decided to drop everything & take risk while chasing my dreams of becoming a clothing brand owner. I've always been a firm believer in chasing your dreams & that's a message I would like to enforce in this world more while expressing my love for fashion.

Although I did have hoop dreams, my senior year I tore my meniscus & sadly but truly my love for the game just wasn't the same. I then tried the college walk on route at local college called LSUE. Being in school was hard coming from a less fortunate family. Not being able to afford housing & meal plans everyday I would sleep on the floor in a friend's room with many thoughts on my mind of "how am I going to eat tonight, how am I going to pay for these school bills, etc." & it just became an overwhelming experience that I knew couldn't be for me. This then caused me to drop out & head back home to Lake Charles, LA.

While fearing judgment & embarrassment of dropping out from my family I had to find another way. The only other thing I enjoyed other than basketball was getting fly. On March 5, 2019 I told one of my best of friends Jaylian Burns/Ri$k that I wanted to start a brand. He looked at me and he told me "Hell Yeah! We gotta start one together". A few years later he was murdered on June 24,2022 in Tennessee at age 19. He had received a good paying job opportunity and immediately took a risk on it even though multiple family and friends didn't want him to go that far away. 

Although this incident brought me pain & sorrow, it showed me to always take risk on your dreams & fear no situation when your dreams are involved. This then persuaded me to stop living in fear & CHASE MY DREAMS. I then started my business up with ONLY 25 T-SHIRTS. To continue everything my brother stood for I decided to name this brand RI$K STUDIOZ & the “$” replaces the “S” simply because were all taking risk to get paid, which is the dream.. to be paid. Our goal is to enforce people to take more RI$K on there dreams & know you can do anything in this world!
